I've done both the management and writing aspects of
being an editor. I've served as an associate, general and managing editor
for small to medium sized company newsletters. Whether I'm doing a full
revision myself or providing feedback to writers, I can create clear,
effective communication while maintaining sensivity to audience and tone.

- In 2005, I edited several articles for BuilderNews
Magazine, a regional
trade publication for the construction industry.
- I was the managing editor of PowerNews,
a customer newsletter for Power
Mac Pac,
a large Apple computer retailer in Portland, OR.
- I served as managing editor of The Mudbone, a customer newsletter
for "Bull
City Bicycles",
a popular Durham, NC bike shop. Alas, I no longer have any issues.
- I was managing editor of The Trading Post a customer newsletter
for "Eno
Traders", a Durham, NC
outdoor store. The quality of this publication earned it space in the
archives of the University of North Carolina.
- I was the associate editor of Western
Winds a customer newsletter
for Western
Mountaineering, a manufacturer and chain of outdoor stores in northern
California.
