Since 1998, I've created sites that are easy to use and compatible everywhere. Too often, designers are seduced by technology and lose sight of the difference between "can" and "should."

I believe the web designer:

  • must be an “information architect.” He must be able to organize content in a simple, logical way.
  • needs to know the basics of usability principles, information graphics and interface design.
  • must know enough about the technology to create designs that are not only technically feasible, but easily implemented and maintained.

My sites reflect this philosophy of combining simplicity and effectiveness. One benefit of this approach is that it can allow clients to maintain their own sites with just a little training.

To that end, I offer courses to my clients who wish to learn basic or advanced HTML and Dreamweaver. For those who don't enjoy the do-it-yourself approach, I also offer site administration and maintenance.
